Produced with a view to highlighting Clifford Chance’s corporate social responsibility policy these advertisements we designed in strict accordance with their corporate guidelines, elegantly interpreting the regulations, representing quite a departure from previous work.
COX'S & KING'S
Overview
The army agency of Cox’s & King’s dates back to 1758. In that year Lord Ligonier appointed his secretary, Richard Cox, as regimental agent. As such Cox was responsible for the payment of officers and men.
Outcome
Subsumed into the Lloyds banking Group, the proposed identity and creative for this esoteric little bank was intended to put a degree of separation between the very personal service offered by the Army's pay agents and the homogenised panoply of services offered by the high-street giant .
BROWN SHIPLEY & CO.
Overview
Brown Shipley & Co. is a London-based subsidiary of KBL European Private Bankers SA and offers investment management, pensions and associated advisory services for private, institutional and corporate clients.
Outcome
Just one manifestation of a number undertaken for this venerable institution. These account mandates and application forms formed part of a broader review of their corporate communications.

Russell Jones & Walker is a prominent firm of legal specialists with a reputation earned over 80 years of representation, covering the full spectrum of legal matters from business and crime to personal injuries and employment legislation.

Briefed to introduce their range of personal services to high value prospects, this brochure supports an imaginative marketing concept to appeal to the target audience and helped to reinforce the client’s esteemed position in this niche market.
KELPIE CLASSIC YACHT CHARTER
Overview
Established to fulfill the racing ambitions of wealthy individuals and corporates alike, prohibitively costly to buy and eye-wateringly expensive to own, Kelpie Classic Yacht Charter made sailing one of just a handful of these class 12m America's Cup yachts a possibility.
Outcome
Literature was designed to reflect the exclusive nature of the proposition, with classic design and exquisite finishing reinforcing the brand values.
CLOSE BROTHERS PRIVATE BANKING
Overview
Close Brothers is Britain’s largest independent merchant bank, one of the top 200 companies listed on the London Stock Exchange. They have a proud history of service excellence in market-making, asset management, banking and corporate finance.
Briefed to launch private banking to officers within the Military, ChapmanCreative profiled the target audience imbuing the brand with its distinctive persona. Drawing heavily on officers sporting and aspirational backgrounds, the creative execution placed strong emphasis on photography and quality of finish.
Outcome
Extravagantly printed and exquisitely crafted, creative elements were designed to feel as good in hand as befits the brand’s luxury status.

Targeting intermediaries and IFAs this project sought to reinforce the company’s ‘Out of the Ordinary’ positioning with literature and direct mail of a similarly distinctive nature.

MANSELL RAIL
Overview
Mansell Rail (a division within the Balfour Beatty Group) is responsible for building and enhancing stations on the mainline and underground rail networks in and around London and southern England.
Required to be ‘the same, but different’, this brochure was designed to sit harmoniously alongside the parent company’s literature though the use of the corporate pallet and typeface. It was distinguished through the use of the abstracted rail map which linked the design inextricably to the rail industry.
